Bonnydale Simmental to Import Embryos to
Australia
Mike & Julie Introvigne, and brother, Rob Introvigne, of Bonnydale
Simmental, Bridgetown, Western Australia visited several U.S. Simmental
operations in the fall of 2005.We had the opportunity and pleasure to
host them and show them our cattle and discuss our philosophy. Since
then, Bonnydale Simmental has agreed to import embryos from Altenburg’s
for the next 3 years to begin a black Simmental program in Australia.
They have chosen 4 of our donors and have recently placed embryos in
Western Australia. Mike Introvigne said, "We visited the U.S. to view
Black Simmental for the establishment of our own Black herd in
Australia. Our expectations were surpassed by what we saw and we are
very excited by the Altenburg Super Baldy Ranch breeding program.
The females we have chosen for our embryo program are outstanding
and are the quality and type of the females we were looking for". We at
Altenburg Super Baldy Ranch look forward to working with the
Introvigne’s as they develop their new program in Australia.
